Speakers' Binder
The binder the speakers chair from, on a tablet. Every agenda item is a page, in running order, with its amendments right behind it. It follows the room, carries each speaker's own record of every outcome, and shows the Recording Secretary's official one.

Reading the screens
Solid means official. The Recording Secretary's record of the outcome.
Outline means yours. A speaker's own record. Only they see it.
Red means the room. The item being dealt with now.
Amber means your marks. Private flags and typed notes.
New pages. An amendment that arrived while the binder was open.
At the head table
The tablet sits on a stand. The index of the current agenda item runs down the left, the page fills the middle, and thumb tabs for every agenda item run down the right.
It follows the room
"Room is on R-3" in the top bar, and the page itself is marked on the floor. The binder never turns the page by itself. If a speaker is reading ahead, "Go there" brings them back in one tap.

One tap on the buttons below the page records the speaker's own outcome, and a second tap clears it. Their record is drawn in outline on the line above the heading, so setting it never moves the text. The Recording Secretary's official one is always solid.
An amendment beside its motion
On an amendment, the left column shows the motion being amended. The page shows the amendment and how the motion would then read, with the change marked. "R-3 › A1" jumps back up the trail.
The live transcript
Switch the left column to Transcript to see what the room has said, word for word. Lines are grouped by speaker, with a marker where each item came to the floor. The page stays where it is.
New amendments arrive while you read
When an amendment is approved, it slips in behind its motion within about 15 seconds, marked NEW. Counts appear on Contents, on the agenda item's thumb tab and in the counter. Nothing moves the page under the speaker.
Go to a number
When a delegate calls a resolution by number, type it on the pad and tap the match. The keys never move while you type.
Flags and notes
Flag a page to dog-ear it, and type a note to read when the item comes up. Both are private to the speaker. Notes save as you type.
Four type sizes
AA offers Small, Standard, Large and Extra large. A size applies at once and is remembered for each speaker.
If the Wi-Fi drops
The top bar says Offline and when the room was last seen. The buttons say they aren't saving, so no tap is lost without the speaker knowing. Everything already loaded stays readable.
In portrait
Turning the tablet swaps the left column for a filmstrip of pages along the bottom. The room line gets a row of its own.
The page and its filmstrip
The pages under the current agenda item sit along the bottom. An amendment's trail is grouped under its motion.
Live captions
In portrait, Transcript puts live captions where the filmstrip was, so the page stays in view. "Full" opens the whole transcript.
The motion, unfolded
On an amendment, the motion folds out above the amendment.
Studying at home
Speakers sign in a few days ahead to read every page, flag what matters and type their notes. Notes and flags are waiting on the tablet at the meeting.
